Chanel Compact Foundation. Which one is the best??

Today I would like to share with you guys comparisons between CHANEL LE BLANC WHITENING COMPACT FOUNDATION in code 12 BEIGE ROSÉ and CHANEL ULTRA LE TEINT COMPACT FOUNDATION in code 30 BEIGE ✨

The Le Blanc known as whitening compact foundation is a long lasting radiance-thermal comfort SPF 25/PA+++ .

Meanwhile Ultra Le Teint compact foundation works well for luminous matte finish that combines coverage and comfort for a flawless, perfectly enhanced complexion all day long.

Okay let’s talk about Le Blanc first.

Le Blanc provides a full coverage and somehow gives the skin a somewhat powdery finish upon application. As the day progresses, this effect subsides and it blends into the skin much better. It does not oxidise and stays true the shade. I am really on the fence on this... it does what a powder foundation does, gives coverage evens out skintone and has OK oil control. I am really glad I bought it because I needed a good powder that has good coverage.

For Ultra Le Teint, It offer long lasting matte finish.It also will give you medium coverage but funny it doesn't conceal imperfection well. So I felt this somehow get the job half-way done! One more issue to be extremely careful... if you like your powder surface staying fresh and smooth, be aware when using a Brush, with the extreme density it is hard to pick up enough powder, and if you over done, it somehow leave the powder surface look very "worn" and "bumpy"!

For me I do love Le Blanc more than Ultra Le Teint. Why?

Because Le Blanc powder gives an instant brightening effect. It also provide high coverage and SPF 25 PA+++ in a convenient compact. It also the best mattifying powder I have so far. I usually put this on before running for extra sun protection and though I sweat afterwards, I don't look "greasy" at all!

I have combination skin, meaning my face gets oily on the t-zone but tends to be dry on other parts of my face. I also have some reddish-purple scars on my cheeks from acne, and this powder covers them completely.

So my advice is, if you’re looking for brightening and full coverage powder go for Le Blanc but if you are type of person who love medium to light coverage, you can go for Le Teint ☺️

Oh did I forget to mention that both COMPACT FOUNDATION is a refillable case. So that next time you can buy the refill only. Save your money!
