< 20SGD REMOVAL + GEL MANICURE?!?!?

i went to hanoi, vietnam earlier this year and girl wanted new claws for the year HAHAHAH

anyways, did some research and found this nail salon PEA NAIL ROOM (BASE 1) so i dmed them on ig to get a quotation for the design i wanted to do and to book an appointment! overall, i must say that the experience was splendid!!!

[BEFORE: booking an appointment]

the admin can speak fluent english so it was rly super convenient! 🫶🏻🫶🏻 no deposit required for securing ur appointment (but do book it in adv to avoid disappointment - they were rather busy throughout my time there)

i sent the ig admin some inspo pics and asked her for quotation! she was super patient and responsive during the day!

[DURING: the appointment]

but irl, the nail techs are not fluent in english so we had to use google translation :( and last minute, she said she couldn’t do the design i had previously sent them (to which they said they could do 😢😢) but i wld v much rather she be honest that she cannot do it than to anyhow do it HAHAH

but!!!! after i showed her my inspo pic, another nail tech gave me a lower quotation that i said OK to but then when my nail tech started removing, she told me another price (higher…) and i was like ???? u told me the lower price previously!

she apologised profusely and said they counted wrongly. i did some currency exchange and figured it was no more than a SGD3 increment & she was super apologetic so i decided why not!

and girl. this was the ONLY hiccup cause i was so impressed by her work 😍😍

she was vv meticulous w her work and was very fast! my removal + set took around 2 hours? but she was super detail-oriented and gave me a few options to choose for the white base 🤭🤭

+++ i’m an introvert so the language barrier and all was quite good cause i had some me time just sitting there, using my phone while she did my nails!

and i left as a happy customer!!

[AFTER: retention]

only regret was not doing overlay cause my nails r inherently rather brittle. and my middle finger BROKE after just 6 days. (i didn’t do extension so the length was my natural nails)

i would say that the retention isn’t the best maybe cause:

1. i didn’t do overlay

2. its completely my natural nails (that r quite long)

but for the price, its really what u get! no complains 😩😩
