🔓head to this gem of a picnic spot!

My partner and I went for a picnic last Saturday and it was an unexpected gem 💎!

Previously we had gone to places like marina barrage, marina south pier, etc. but this new location we found definitely beat the former two 😎

Since the NDP previews are going on, it’s time to grab your picnic mats 🧺, your friends 👯‍♀️, loved ones 🫶🏻, your food and drinks 🍹to somewhere to catch them fireworks and the very impressive air shows!

This time we cooked some barley rice, grabbed some kimchi, beer, and blueberries to munch on as we wait and watch on the fireworks. it had a really nice view of the fireworks 🎆, iLight installations from afar, the Red Lions, F-16 air show ✈️, a great sunset 🌞… I mean, it’s just such a great spot! There were many people cycling/skating/walking their dogs on the pavements so that’s also a possible additional activity for before your picnic! We happened to sit next to a really cute family having their Macs dinner and watching the good show. There was even a couple who planned a surprise birthday celebration there 🥹! This place has all the right vibes and even the fireworks to round up the evening~~

Remember to pack some cushions for your butt (the ground isn’t the flattest! 🤥), insect repellent (!! Very important. I went back with several bites), a nice book to read, camera to shoot the small but beautiful things around 😌
