Tag Espresso - My honest review…

It’s my second time trying out the drinks from TAG Espresso and honestly I was very disappointed…

I tried the Iced Pineapple Black which was not to my liking 🥲 They mixed pineapple juice, tonic water and espresso tgt, so the whole drink tasted kinda bitter…

As for the food, I’ve ordered the Hamburg Steak Don, which was decent, but nothing special, in terms of the ingredients or the sauce. Could possibly replicate it if I were to buy the ingredients and cook it on my own.

Rating: 3 /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food: ❌ Not sure if I ordered the wrong food. Was initially thinking of getting the pork chop fried rice, but for the price of >$15, I can easily find cheaper options at the hawker.

Drinks: ❌ Didn’t really like the Iced Pineapple Black. They had a 1-1 drink promo for their pineapple series, but I didn’t get my second cup. Also, I rmb in the past I’ve ordered their Rose Latte before and it was disappointing too.

Price: ✅ After GST and service, it costed abt $28. Would say that it was a decent cafe standard price.

Ambience: ✅ The only good thing about this place is that it was super quiet on a weekday late afternoon when I went there, and it has nice music too!

Environment: ✅ Perfect place to study as it has power plugs available, not sure if they provide wifi cuz I didn’t ask, as I had a lot of mobile data to tap on so I just used my own hotspot heh.

Would I come back again?? 🤔 Honestly I had a very good strong impression of Tag Espresso as there is always so much hype online, but only to be disappointed again and again.
