i wish i knew how to braid 😭

Dear Lemon 8 diary 🍋,

I wish I knew how to braidddd. I’m thinking of how important braids are to black culture and black history and it’s about that time I learn how to do these protective styles myself. Honestly, i just can’t be spending 200 dollars a pop or more to get braids done, no matter the style. I have so much respect for the people who do hair and their time, but truly it’s about time I start learning myself . I literally had a dream i had some cute cornrows last night and woke up sad without braids lolol. Here i am reminiscing on these cute braids my friend did for me with YARN by the way. Yeah I’m going to learn how to braid a.s.a.p.

If you know how to braid or even do a flat twist, put some pointers in the comments pleaseee or some names of some youtubers you watched.
