Sister Wah Beef Brisket

Ordered the beef brisket, tendon & tripe noodles 🤤 Noodles were perfectly cooked (al dente), broth was super flavourful but the clear winner was the tendon & tripe for me! No weird beef smell at all & super super fresh! Add the chilli oil into the dish for that added punch 💯💯

Hing Kee Restaurant

Best place for supper! For the claypot rice, go for the chicken ones. Must order their oyster omelette 🤤🤤 It’s sooo good and I doubt i can get this exact dish in SG 😭 Crispy on the outside, soft and dense chewy on the inside 🤤 It’s abit like our teochew meat puff but better!!!

Wing Hap Lung Restaurant

Pls do yourself a favour when you are in Hong Kong, come to this shop and order their roasted goose leg + roasted pork + fried egg over rice 🤤🤤 The roasted pork is not 烧肉 ah, it’s the 乳猪 (abit like our suckling pig but they use adult pigs). Roasted over charcoal, super fragrant! Perfect plate imho 😋😋 Ask for the green onion oil, damn shiok!!!

Bakehouse

This place needs no introduction 🙃 Their sourdough egg tarts are really fragrant and buttery! It might be a tad sweet for some people but I loved it 🤤 If you’re eating on the spot, I’ll recommend this over Hashtag B. But if you wanna tabao back to SG, Hashtag B is better because their tart crust is less doughy and the custard is equally good (less sweet).

Oi Man Sang

Must order the fried beef & potato dish! The beef is tenderized using the usual chinese method so it’s that kind of tender, not the western style kind. The dish uses maggie seasoning and i love it! Super flavourful 😋😋 I don’t think I can find this in SG and i miss it so much! Another dish is their razor clams - super fresh!! The freshest I’ve ever had. 💯

Cheung Hing Kee Shanghai Pan Fried Buns

The 生煎包 here is really as good as the best ones I’ve had in Shanghai 🤤🤤 Crispy on the bottom but yet a little chewy on the top with the inside filled with juicy meat / prawn fillings. BEST THING EVER!!!

Chan Sze Kee

Honestly the best lunch meal I had 🤤🤤 Super local & authentic. Order the chicken / pork chop rice with tomato sauce / green onion sauce - you can choose any variation you want & both were delicious!! Add on a sunny side up to complete that meal, super shiok!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
