I realized I told y’all I was a gamer and all I’ve been posting about is perfume and earrings lmao 😂. My fault. So I have pretty much every system except Xbox. I don’t do Xbox lol. But lately I’ve been really into my Steamdeck because I’m a slut for a portable system. Plus you can buy pretty much any console game on steam so there’s that too. So let’s get into it. My most played steam games as of late 😉:

🎮 Kynseed

At first this game was not the best lol. I actually set it to the side for like a year because it just wasn’t hitting the way it was supposed to. BUT, while it was shelved the devs gave it a HUGE update and overhaul and it’s become a LOT more enjoyable since. The premise is that you basically just start a life in this realm where the people worship fae goddesses. You live life, get married, have kids, die and pass on through the Kynseed so you can continue playing as your offspring who’ve inherited all your stats and everything you achieved in your life. It could be considered cozy I guess but it’s definitely RPG and there’s combat. It’s also very side quest heavy so if that’s not your style, this game won’t be for you. I think devs could still do more with it but it’s fine how it is for now. I’m the get it on sale Queen no matter how 🔥 the game is so don’t buy it at full price lol 😉

Okay don’t judge me but I literally JUST played this for the first time ever. 😭 for some reason I thought it was about zombies this ENTIRE time so I never looked twice at. I don’t like zombies. Imagine my surprise when I learned this is actually about being a cowboy in the Midwest during the gold rush era. Complete with robbing, killing and stealing 🤭. I LOVE this game, but I’m on pause with it rn for two reasons. ☝🏾I got myself into some SugarHoneyIcedTea cause the controls are a bit laggy on steamdeck 😭 already had a bounty out for my head because of a previous mission and then I tapped the wrong button on accident, stole someone’s horse, and ended up in a shootout with the entire town 😭 soooo now my bounty is waaay more than it was and I’m just too stressed to even deal with that rn 😂 and ✌🏾this next game stole my whole attention 🤦🏾‍♀️ imma come back to Red Dead as soon as I get the chef bug out my system.

This game is new. Came out like 2 weeks ago new and is very much still in early access. That being said, devs are very active already with updates. There’s been 7 so far and they seem very interactive on discord as well as in the steam community. This game does not have controller support at this time, but they are working on it and it should be up and working in a few weeks so in the meantime you gotta play it on PC unless you wanna map your entire controller for the game. This is most definitely a cozy game. You play as a former chef student (either human or Android) who is tasked with restoring a former restaurant back to its former glory in some technologically advanced podunk coastal town. There’s farming and hunting aspects but they’re totally optional. And the artwork is pretty cool. Kinda weird but cool nonetheless. There’s already a lot to do as it is rn so if you don’t mind playing early access games, definitely check this out. It has a ton of potential and I’m excited to see what devs do going forward.
