Hey everyone! Welcome to my episode 2 of 🧶! I am so excited to share with you my new bucket hat. This video also signifies my day 30 of learning crocheting :).
My experience : Since this is my first project using the crochet needle, it took me quite awhile for me to learn the basics. My hands were also quite stiff so a few hours in, my hands were always lenguh haha. I’ve quite enjoyed crochet shopping though - everything crochet comes in different different cute colors! I love that about crocheting haha.
Alright let’s get into the project!
What you need?
👉🏻 Yarn (I use 100% arcylic)
👉🏻 Crochet needle (I use 5.5mm for this project)
👉🏻 Bobby pin or crochet pin (to mark your progress)
P/s: Spotlight have a lot of yarn variety! They even have denim yarn, like wow haha. And a lot more so check them out if you live near to the store ;) If not, shoppee or your local kedai jahit mesti ada! But I’ve noticed the different quality they offer la. Of course they’re cheap too.
How to do it?
👉🏻There’s a few tutorial on youtube on how to do it. I’ve had trouble understanding them in the early stage but once I get the gist of it it’s do-able! Saya nak ajar saya pun baru belajar takut ajaran sesat nanti 🤣 By the way, I custom made my hat inspired by the youtube tutorial sebab I rasa kepala I besar and bila pakai tudung kalau fit sangat topi nanti tertarik tudung i dun like. No worries if you ada buat salah time crocheting, boleh je buka balik and redo :). Here is the reference I follow for this hat (I add more rows to make it looser to fit my head)
