Use a lip pencil to define your lips. To give the look of full, big lips, use lip liner to trace just outside of your natural lip line. Here is a demonstration of this makeup technique:

Use a lip liner that complements your skin tone and lip colour to start with your lower lip. Draw a line beginning in the middle of your lips and ending just below the lower lip line. When you get to the corner of your lips, keep moving outward from the centre in an upward direction. Repeat on your upper lips, then use liquid lipstick to fill in the outline.
