you’ve come to the right post! today i’ll be sharing with you commonly used study techniques that are NOT HELPFUL at all!! read on to find out how to curb these habits and improve your grades 😁❤️

1)highlighting everything

do you ever just take your highlighter and highlight the whole page? (especially if the page seems super important?) 😱😱

instead, try making questions about key points. write these question on a flash card, and the answer behind!💪

this way, you create a bank of questions for you to use to actively recall information later on!

for example, instead of highlighting the whole definition of “active transport”, ask yourself, “what is active transport”.

2)rereading your content over and over 😬

do you find yourself going over the same pages? worse still, going over information and NOT retaining it?

try this instead:

summarize your content into a deck of slides, as if you are teaching a class 👩‍🏫 this way, you can break down and better understand more difficult concepts!
