Online you see so many posts about working out, but never enough about why you should properly REST to allow your body to recover fully. I take my rest days very seriously. Here are my top tips for the perfect rest day.

1. Supplements - My favorite supplements for recovery include trace mineral drops, hydration packets, amino acid blend, NAC, NMN, and a multivitamin. This is what I take to ensure I'm properly recovering from each and every workout. The NMN is good for improving mitochondrial metabolism and muscle recovery. NAC has antioxidants and is great for immune function.

2. Longevity Mushrooms. Good for increasing athletic performance, improving exercise recovery time, and supporting the immune system.

3. Nutritious Meals - eat like an athlete!

4. Cold plunge - reduces inflammation and speeds muscle recovery.

5. Green juices - great for waste delivery, staying hydrated, and getting minerals in! Also great for immune function.
