people do not understand how relaxing journaling can be. i didn’t think i’d like it but once i started i can’t go a day without doing it because it brings such piece to my mind and is so relaxing to be able to have time to reflect on my day and myself.
-learn to breathe 🧘♀️
this may sound basic but learning a healthy breathing pattern when you start getting anxious or upset is my go to exercise when i need to gain my peace again even when out in public.
-exercise 💪
any type of exercise, mine would be going to the gym or going on a walk. when i’m feeling more tense i like to go for a pretty intense workout routine because it releases all that negativity and stress in a healthy way!! :)
-read 📚
i like to read books to cope because having alone time and being able to sit down and read is honestly so important and so beautiful. it is a healthy way to stay off technology, gives your brain a break from reality & exercises your brain in a relaxing way.
