Seoul Food Guide Pt 2, incl THICC Salmon Sashimi 🍣

Here's part 2 of my Seoul food guide, with both crowd and my personal favourites that are loved by both locals and tourists 🤤

🦀 Gebang Sikdang

💭 I'm usually sceptical about Michelin guide places but this restaurant absolutely lived up to the hype. Their raw crabs are fresh and delicious, featuring flavourful marinades, of which our favourite has to be the piquant and savoury yangnyeom.

🍣 Salmon Ropda

💭 This place is a hidden gem and local favourite, and a must-return for me everytime I revisit Seoul. You definitely have to order their salmon platter, which comes stacked with thicc sashimi slices done in various ways. They also serve up a mean Rosé Pasta.

🥩 Hanmiok

💭 This restaurant has been popularised by Tiktok and for good reason. The greasy, fatty meat paired with the soft egg and various sides definitely hit the spot.

🐙 Hong's Jjukkumi

💭 Here, you'll get succulent octopus pieces and fatty pork belly slices tossed in a spicy, savoury, and moreish sauce. Be sure to end your meal with their signature fried rice which comes speckled with flying fish roe that pops in your mouth.
