I’m not new to the social media world, just to this app. This morning I hit 400,000 on my main instagram page using the growth and monetization tips I share with my students, and some woman had the nerve to leave a racist comment under my post. I had a plan to do a whole celebration post, and I had a plan to make a separate response video to call her out. Instead of stooping to her level with hate, I responded to her video with a little bit of the success I’ve received due to social media.

I’ve had some ups and downs with social media and that was mainly bc of the apps themselves, obviously there’s going to be negative people but I’m really good at ignoring them. But this one I couldn’t ignore.

I pinned her comment to my last post so the world can see the kind of person she is bc racism online and in person is not ok!

The best way to combat negativity is with success and positivity and that’s exactly what I did 🩷😌
