Q: what have you given up for God?

Q: have you felt convicted recently?

Q:in what ways has God disciplined or spoken to you?

God has been putting this on me for a while. I read a lot of books that aren’t good for me and don’t glorify Him.

I love reading so so much. But my main escape isn’t supposed to be my mind, it’s supposed to be with the Lord.

I’ve struggled with maladaptive daydreaming a lot. I keep seeing Christians talk about it and it is hampering my progress with the Lord.

I am veryyy sad about this, there are series I haven’t finished and books i never even got to start. But God clearly wants me to do this. And sometimes you need to get rid of something to make space for something better.

This pains me so much but the Lord has his plan and I need to trust him :(( this is so hard goodness 🙁🙁

(Also idk the contents of SOME of the books some shown are fine :))

Ive never felt convicted like I did when I read. Its like this strong guilt I feel a lot and I keep feeling it and God spoke to me in a way that I will cover in another post :)

Maybe I can find some Christian books to read:)

This will all be worth it in the end!!! I love God more than I love any book! :))
