Cutting costs renting living alone $$

Taking in consideration of previous posts, I've started being more health conscious. I got inspired by my colleague eating salad for lunch everyday so Id like to do the same! Salad is pretty expensive but that is okay. Health > money!! Cleaner hospital bills in the long run and less suffering. In fact I see my skin glowing from eating salads for the past few days lol.

In today's grocery, I bought a protein salad at $5.24. It is pretty hefty price considering I prefer to keep meals $5 or under but that is okay. 24cents more than my budget means that I could have been able to afford another meal if I ate 20 of these :') Not sure if you get the gist of it, but every cent really counts especially when you're on a tight budget.

While checking out, I came across my favourite section-the promo section! They are selling cereals at $1 per bag only!! The staff was stocking up the cereals while im browsing through them lol I was deciding between honey stars and milo cereal but end up taking both because I felt bad being in the way & disturbing the staff stocking it up lol

In total, I spent $7.24 on groceries ⭐️

The salad will be for my lunch and cereal will be my snacks/dinner when I feel hungry.
