<$300 Expenses Monthly

These excel sheet expenses are not inclusive of my rent ($1250) and my insurance ($310).

The expenses included in this excel sheet are my food, groceries, transport and misc.

I try to keep my weekly expenses as low as possible,

$20 - grocery

$20- lunch(friday)

$20 - weekend/misc

$15 - transport

That is about $75 per week, totalling up to $300 per month.

I'm able to save on transport because my workplace is walking distance. Transport is mrt/bus back to my parents or going out on the weekends.

Foodwise, I'm able to save cost by packing 3 meals from my parents home. This will cover my Mon-Wed lunches. And for Thursday lunch, I utilise the food vouchers I won from my company event. Lastly for Friday lunch, I will eat out with my colleagues to a nice place together($20 budget). Dinner is usually skipped on alternate days. On days where I am very hungry, I would have a full meal($5). On days that I do skip I will have a snack to compensate. Id curb the hunger by filling myself up with snacks on the pantry and drinking lots of water. From Friday-Sunday, I'm usually at my parents place and meals will be covered for. But recently I have only been coming back on Sat nights/Sunday morning so Fri & Sat meals are usually borned by me ($10 budget).

As you can see from my expenses tracker, I only purchase the bare minimum necessities for myself and hardly ever buy things out of my pocket money.

The only time I would buy extra things for myself is during my live streams, where I receive monetary gifts from my viewers and extra expenses may be covered for. For this month, I received $25 for dinner/grocery, $90 for new bedsheets and a pc game worth $20 by my viewers.

I feel very grateful and lucky to be able to live under a small budget. It works pretty well for me because I'm used to eating one meal a day. However I do not recommend this lifestyle.

Overall, my total expenses racked up to about $1,826 for September.
