As a pre-nursing student it’s so easy to lose yourself in the studies and not have anytime for yourself.

These are my Habits

🧘 Habit 1: Tarot Cards

Tarot is not for everyone but i personally love it. Every morning me and my mom go over our cards and speak on how they reflect on our life as a whole as well as how it may reflect on the day ahead of us.

🧘 Habit 2: Studying Outside

With the weather getting colder there are less chances for studying outside so i’ve been taking advantage every chance i get. The scenery and the fresh air makes my studying time feel more aesthetic and productive.

🧘 Habit 3: Going to the gym

I’ve always struggled with my weight and staying consistent with exercise. I made a promise to myself to stop complaining and change it, and I did. It’s not easy… at all. I definitely fell off a few times when i first started but now im at the point where i have to go to the gym or my brain just won’t function right. The gym is really a form of therapy for me. My motto is no pain no gain 😜 you feel me?

🧘 Habit 4: Eating more often

I used to eat maybe once a day or have a snack one day and not eat the next, thinking it would help me lose weight. That was not the case! I would either be stagnant in my weight or gain weight. Once i began to eat more i noticed myself feeling more energized and actually losing weight. While im still working on what I put in my body, eating 3 meals a day has become important to me.

🧘 Habit 5: Stop and smell the roses

Life goes so fast and running around with my head loose like a turkey was not fun for my mental health. Over the years I have learned that there’s no need to rush, everything will fall in place. Watch the sunsets, be in awe of the trees turning colors. The world is so beautiful we just need to take the time to observe it.
