All the good!

I love Desi food , it’s what I grew up on! But, I live in a city where the options for Desi are okay at best. So, I cook a ton of my childhood favorites from scratch! The fall is full of Hindu holidays so I find myself craving the holiday meals my mom makes. Also, holidays for me are synonymous with aloo sabzi, some type of chole, and puri so give me all three in all forms right now and I’m a happy camper. Most recently I’ve make chole and puri, bhindi, dry lauki like sabzi, bhel puri, chaat, chole and kulche, and our go to Sunday special of paranthe (stuffed with any leftover sabzi from the week). I don’t make puri, kulche, or paranthe that often because they’re pretty heavy, we prefer rice. But sometimes you just need the comforts!
