newest aesthetic cafe addition to JALAN BESAR? 🌕

MOONCHILD🌙 by the very popular & famous ATLAS & COLOMBUS team, recently opened at Jalan Besar, joining the hot number of cafes there!

I went on their first opening day and here’s my honest review ✨

place is very aesthetic with lots of places to take nice photos, it has a very stylish greek and vintage vibes imo. however, i was quite confused and puzzled as to where the entrance of the cafe was, and spent quite awhile looking for it LOL. it is actually a big red door at the side, so if you walk along the pavement, you have to turn in to find the entrance.

the food items we got were:

🍜 pork dan dan scallion noodles $21

THIS. WAS. SO. GOOD. please try it!!! the pork had mala spices, was really flavourful and the noodles were green! this made it for me 😫

🌹 scallop rose mafaldine $23.90

my friend gobbled this down… it was really creamy and thicc!!! the scallops tasted rlly fresh too~

🥗 messy nicoise salad $21.50

i dont usually eat salads but this sald was bOMB!!! wah i enjoyed it sm and the salmon was so yummy tgt w the dressing~ really ur diff kind of salad!!

drink items:

🥥 coconut water w milkstache cream foam $8

my friend didn’t really enjoy this and had to add sugar syrup HAHAHA.. it was creamy thO

🍹 jasmine oolong iced tea w milkstache $7.50

i really enjoyed this!!! was really refreshing accompanied w the cream~~ paired together really well!!

overall, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5!!! i will definitely come back to try the breakfast brunch menu which looks rlly good too!! yums 🤤 💰
