Destination you can get away to this winter 🏝️

Did you know that during the winter time, the Southern Hemisphere is actually enjoying its summer? That’s why it makes the perfect destination to visit for the holiday season between November to January!

New Zealand

One of my favorite getaways I did one Christmas some time ago and still think about it every year. This is perfect for those who love nature and all sorts of landscapes. I would highly recommend renting a campervan and experiencing the authentic “kiwi” lifestyle. During these months, since it's their summertime, you’ll find fields of lupines everywhere.

Fiji

If you’re looking for pure relaxation and a secluded getaway, this is the perfect paradise to be this winter! Depending if you’re on the main island Nadi, or choose to experience an all-inclusive resort island, definitely consider staying in an overwater bungalow. For the further out islands, you’ll have to take a seaplane which was my favorite part of the trip! Oh, and did I mention the ocean is so calm and blue during this time of the year?

Mauritius

For a single island, it really has a lot of offer! There are so many pristine white sand and blue ocean beaches, My favorite is Le Morne Public Beach where it is so clear, you can see the fishes swimming around! I highly recommend visiting during this time because the weather can’t get any better than this. And if you’re here, don’t miss the Chamarel Seven Colored Earth Geopark and Chamarel Waterfall .
