IS GIVING tuition the RIGHT side hustle JOB FOR U?

Hii LEMONIANS,

As most of yall dk, I started giving math tuition when I was 18 years old!! 🤩🤨 SO this has been my side hustle job for 2 years no matter whether im studying/ working (intern) Currently now I have 2 private students and 2 tuition center students 😸😸

SO to answer this question.. it really depends on the STUDENTS 👥 & the PAY 💰

THE PAY is always very attractive!! 20+/HR and above depending on your academic level 😎

As for student wise:

-For those average A-B Students, I would say their basics is there, very strong, so during tuition is more of a guidance to them and you dont need repetition gg thru the same types of questions

-For average C-D Students, they would need more practice, and are slow in understanding, just need to explain patiently and give them more practice!! Ask questions to get them thinking & exercise their thinking!!

-For those who are scoring below that (BUT home tuition), I will recommend you to suggest to have 2 lessons per week, to help them ace their basics (so the commitment level is higher) but u learn a-lot of values along the way as well, like patience, understanding, and it expanded your thinking by asking them another type question that is testing the same concept 👩🏼. ITS slightly trickier but every math lesson it just got me thinking!! (TO EXERCISE my BRAIN 🫵🏻)

-Moreover I like this job because it has the highest flexibility (for home tuition wise!!)

DO I REGRET GIVING TUITION?! 🙀

Although I have came across many students (like some really bad attitude ones), so I will feel quite demoralised so I ended up quitting as I feel like I CAN only help them ace their math if they have the heart to learn ❤️❤️ so thats the biggest takeaway from me!!😼
