A bag for active folks who travel

I’ve been a fan of Bold ever since they came out with their first bag, the Quiver in 2017. I used it up to a point where I was given a 15 inch laptop for work, and then it went out of my regular rotation of bags based on circumstance (the Quiver only could fit 13 inch laptops).

Six years later the PYX is released, and I have to say that they’ve outdone themselves in terms of functionality. Here are the features that I truly appreciate:

🎒 Luggage handle strap

- All good travel backpacks should have a luggage handle strap. I’ve passed on really good bags that didn’t have this feature because travelling is something I’d like to do more often and I don’t want to have to have another backpack for it

🎒 It has a detachable mini sling bag

- I love how the sling bag is perfect if you brought your bag to work and you want to bring your essentials out to lunch, or house travel documents when you’re flying

- Or you can leave it in its dedicated place in the bag for more organisation

🎒 Top pocket for the small stuff

- Earphones, sunglasses, chapstick, breath mints. Small loose things that might get lost in other parts of your bag, so this pocket is so useful

🎒 Quick access side pockets

- Amazing for keeping larger items that you need access to on the go; water bottle, umbrella or powerbank

🎒 Dedicated pockets for dirty clothes and toiletries

- If this was any other bag, you would have to have another sack to keep dirty clothes just so it stays separated from your other stuff

🎒 It has a flap to create a shoe compartment

- This is also super handy in case your shoes are a little dirty, but of course you can use it for other things as well that needs separating (things you’ve picked up during your hike, for example)

If you’re ever in the market for a really functional bag, I say look no further because the PYX is the one to beat. I have one backpack that I’ve invested from Kickstarter that’s on its way out thanks to wear and tear and the PYX is the perfect replacement.
