Embarrassing or awkward situations memang tak dapat dielak (ᵕ—ᴗ—), however, here are a few ways I usually do to minimise the embarrassing-ness and it might help you too😁!

1. Spotlight effect ✨✨

I learned about this reading through an article on how to overcome public speaking nervousness but selain public speaking, I believe this can be related to so many situations. With this knowledge, always have this mindset that you are NOT IT😑. That you're not all that different from everyone else you pass by so just chill and do youദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ In other words, jangan perasansantan ya sksk

2. NO ONE will remember (。· v ·。) ?

Believe me girl, they don't. I can guarantee you that people tend to remember their OWN embarrassing moments more than someone else. Unless you're really close to that person, tell me one embarrassing thing some stranger did that you still remember to this day🤨? Most likely, you don't! So that thing you did 5 years ago? ...what thing? Hehe ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

3. “Whatever” mindset ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm not even sure if my friend does this consciously or just out of habit, but whatever it is, it definitely helped me! Usually it's when they forget to do something, or they should have done this or that, but if the thing wasn't all that important in the first place, they would panic for a few seconds... then they just "whatever" and move on HAHA (basically, it’s best to not dwell on the past and focus on the present!)

So those are the 3 ways that help me get over things I did I found to be SANGAT memalukan, but you know what? Who cares! We’re humans after all, it’s normal to feel this way but we shouldn’t let it consume us to the point that it stops us from doing the things we love ❤︎ If you’re battling with something much more serious like severe social anxiety, always seek for professional advice.
