coach pillow tabby bag at $541 vs $1488?? 🥵

FARFETCH saved me $961!!! 🥹

In October 2022, I stumbled upon this #coach tabby pillow bag that was going craaaazy in the U.S a few months back from then AND I WAS DETERMINED TO GET IT! But it was sold out in Coach SG so I did some digging into other ways to get in my hands.

*I got size 26, not the mini 18

1st stop: ✨ CAROUSELL ✨

There were sellers who were selling their secondhand pillow tabbies at $500 and above, but it was bought in 2021 (I was searching in Oct 2022 and 2021 felt so long ago) and I was quite afraid to get them from carousell bc I saw soooo many dupes that looked so similar to the authentic ones. So, I went to do my extensive research on fake vs. real pillow tabbies and YouTube helped me a lot!! Actually it was quite easy to tell due to the font and tag colour differences, and of course the quality.

2nd stop: ✨ ZALORA ✨

Zalora was carrying it at a whopping $1488 when the retail was only $900+ (according to some carousellers) and obviously I wasn’t willing to pay?!? Inflation is real but surge pricing is realer…. 😰 IT WAS AN INSTANT NO TO ME!

3rd stop: ✨ GOOGLE ✨

There were so many other online websites (not local) that were carrying the bag for cheaper than the RTP. But as one who is traumatised and scarred badly by fake goods and scams, I couldn’t let myself buy from those online retailers… Until I saw Farfetch!

Chosen stop: ✨ FARFETCH ✨

My friends and bf had bought from Farfetch before and their items were 100% authentic, so I got more trust in that website. But I still went on to Google “Is Farfetch legit?” “Does Farfetch carry fake items”? And the answer I got was what I wanted so desperately to believe…. that IT WAS LEGIT 🥹

When searching for the tabby bag, I was stunned by the price cos it was so cheap… (I thought it was in USD) and they named the bag differently - abit sus ah. What I found was that the bags were coming from different boutique stores across the world (France, US, Spain) and it IS return and refundable within 14 days from receiving the order. So I finally bought it and received it within 3 DAYS!!! I checked all the fonts and tags following a YouTube guide, and it was authentic. 😜

Please do your own research and ask around too!!! Just because I got a good experience, does not mean you might too. I emailed their customer service for some help and they did reply promptly, you can also contact them through calling their number (I have not tried it) Happy shoppin!!
