Photos I DIDN’T post to Instagram👀 (and why)

I love Instagram for what it is but sometimes the pressure to perform is just a bit too much.

Even now, where the trendy style is “imperfect” and “on the go” and “candid,” I feel like all of your imperfect candid photos still have to be just right.

Each one of these photos were taken because I felt pretty, but I didn’t post them because they’re not perfect.

Today I’m saying screw that 🖕. Instagram will forever be what it is, but let’s create a space on Lemon8 where we don’t have to be absolutely perfect to show up. 😎
