got ourselves colour code.d ~

hello friends!

recently we went to get a colour analysis done for ourselves, just a little treat to ourselves. we got ours done with code.d (on instagram) - their slots get quickly filled very fast so book early! i book mine one month in adv. I booked the comprehensive session for myself and the essential one for him.

Alethea was the consultant with us, and she's super patient, detailed and nice! 😆 At the start, she actually gave us some true or false questions about colour analysis - and it was really informative.

At the start, we found out that i had a neutral skin undertone and he had a cool skin undertone! (surprised because i thought he was a neutral and i was cool toned...🤣)

Moving to the more fun part, she draped all the different colours on us - and surprised to find out, my first would be Autumn Deep and his was Winter Vivid 🫣 and she told us our next 2 top choices! mine was Winter Deep followed by Summer Whitish. his was Summer Whitish followed by Winter Deep.

(thankfully we had colours we both suit so we can match more 🤣) - after the session, i told my mother about our colour that fit us, and she definitely agreed that those colours make us pop more! we were also told the different achromatic colours that fit us 🙏🏼 (i'm so thankful that black looks good on me!)

Moving onto the hair segment, i was so glad to find out that i fit warm and cool tone hairstyles, ash + even creative colours 😆 but for him, he only suits cool tone dark brown or jet black hahaha.

For accessories, i found out i suit more gold than silver and he only suited silver! Moving on to make-up, i found out that cool-toned make up would look good on me - which i knew!!! but what i didn't know was almost 80% of my make up was warm toned actually 😭 but she did approve my highlighter and concealer (because my concealer was the best shade match to me 😆) i was so surprised when she actually shared she had thailand products to recommend!!! because i'm currently using many thailand brands or brands from jakarta ~

We also added an additional service which was the spectacles frame matching - sadly realised i unfortunately do not look that great in glasses with only 1 frame that really suited me (maybe that's why god gave me 20/20 vision....) but for my partner, wow he had a lot of options - and we narrowed it down to two! she also checked the different type of frames (half-frame, clear frames, thick frames) to see which would look the best!

Ultimately, we came out knowing so much more - we'll definitely take in more considerations about the colours we choose. Would highly recommend code.d, such a fun experience 😊
