Affordable pottery in taiwan (<$20)!! 🥰😋💯

Wanted to do pottery when i went to taiwan and i’m really glad i managed to squeeze in this activity!

📍The Shu’s Pottery is conveniently located in Yingge District, New Taipei City 🏙️ which is famously known for its ceramics and art studios.

📦There are many packages offered by Shu’s Pottery, ranging from just $12.02 per pax for bowl painting to $20.18 for the wheel throwing pottery experience.

🎉I signed up for the wheel throwing pottery option, which included 2 tries (with the option of choosing your best piece (1) to bring home). There is also an option of adding on ceramic decals on your pottery, but i chose to keep it simple and leave it empty😊👌 You can also choose your ceramic glaze after completing your mould, and the staff will do it for you.

🚚 As the ceramic piece needs to harden and be glazed (usually 2-3 months waiting time), i opted for home delivery (back to SG) which would take roughly 2-4 months after. For delivery charges to SG, it cost NT$600 for 1 piece and NT$1,000 for 2 pieces (according to Kkday). The staff will confirm with you on the shipment details after, which will be an additional cost

💰For the price point, it’s definitely a must try when you’re in taiwan as pottery classes can be really expensive here in singapore 💯

•Book early!

•Do take note that the workshop is being taught in mandarin~ but there are written english instructions
