Hidden Cosy Cafe in Town ✨

Hi fam!

It's been awhile since I last posted thanks to finals and a backlog of errands 🥲

I recently went to this hidden cafe with my bestie that's nestled behind a furniture store called House of AnLi Interiors at Tanglin Mall and it was really gorgeous and peaceful :)

We ordered a total of three dishes - two mains, one dessert, and a pot of tea.

✨ Classic Organic Poached Eggs "Benedict" with Parma Ham & Hollandaise Sauce, $28

- This dish was plated really beautifully. The eggs were poached to perfection too! Overall, I would say that the taste was decent though, nothing too spectacular.

✨ Cured Salmon Tartare, $32

- Description on the menu: Cured in Orange Blossom & Gin. Topped, with Wasabi Caviar, Light Citrus Mayonnaise, Lemon Pops, Vegan Ponzu Dressing

- This was really tasty thanks to the amalgamation of ingredients as mentioned above. It was refreshing and light, but price point was reallyyy high imo.

✨ Beetroot Ginger Cake, $14

- We were surprised by this as we expected it to be dry just from the words beetroot and ginger LOL. Fortunately, it wasn't too terrible, it was dense but slightly moist. Originally, we wanted to get the Individual Banana cake ($8) because we saw Rum and Caramel Sauce (😜) but it was sold out.

Lastly, we ordered a pot of Marco Polo tea ($8) which was a blend of Fruits, Chinese & Tibetan Flowers. This was good but the teapot was in a bad condition and the teacups had no handles..??? LOL it was weird.

Will I come back? Maybe...? If I don't mind splurging on aesthetically pleasing food again hehe 🤓
