SOLO TGIF NIGHT OUT IN BUGIS 🍮📸🌙

hello zesties! I went on a me-time adventure exploring Bugis last Friday. I had such a fun time and thought I'd share it here - lemon8 is becoming a personal diary for me hehehe love it!

My first stop was Haji Lane. There were plenty of photobooth stores there so I couldn't resist taking a picture myself! Drawn by the metallic vibes of the Elevator Room, I chose Solace Studios. They offer a variety of other rooms - among them, the lavatory-inspired room and the low-angle room caught my eye too.

Next up was shopping along haji lane. Haji Lane has some of the cutest shops ever!! For thrift shop enthusiasts, there are numerous options available. My favourite has to Vintagewknd - though slightly pricier, it's perfect if you are into floral, cottage-core or corset reworked pieces.

Before heading home, I stopped by Yat Ka Yan on Tan Quee Lan Street. This is their second outlet. This second outlet didn't disappoint; I've visited their original location at Fortune Centre and fell in love with their Orh Nee (yam paste). I initially wanted to order their Orh Nee but opted for the Mango Sago with Ice Cream instead due to the atrocious heat. It was truly refreshing indeed! Also, I appreciate that their Tan Quee Lan outlet opens later than the first.

Overall, I had a really fun time exploring Bugis. It was made better by a hassle-free ride home with RushOwl. As someone living in the North, finding an affordable cab home is often frustrating and expensive!! 💸
