When I saw the #My9to5 trend, what first came to my mind was to share a day in my life. So here I am!
It was also for me to document a tough and hectic day at work. Taking photos and time-stamping the various activities did helped me to get through the difficult day bit by bit!
6AM - Started my day at the gym.
730AM - 1hr commute to office (I usually enter the train station around 730am to benefit from the “before 745am peak hour” savings by SMRT)
830AM - Arrived at office and started work! My official working hours is 9am-545pm but as a morning person, I prefer to go office and start work early.
1030AM - Had a meeting to attend to. A time where I intentionally increase my social energy despite being an introvert (it definitely drains a huge part of me away after)
12PM - Lunch time!
2PM - More meetings. Got myself a mini caffeine boost so that I will not food coma 🤣
4PM - Company event!! Free food and drinks is the best hehehe
5PM - Back at my desk to continue with work. Then, moved on to study for my professional qualifications paper.
730PM - Time to go home yay! 🏡
It was a busy and tough day but I got through it!! It’s my first time documenting my day and I highly recommend it, especially when you are dreading the day/activity so badly.
