Italian restaurant with a breathtaking view 👨🏻‍🍳

Located at Collyer Quay, Monti offers modern interpretation of Italian cuisine and unparalleled views of the MBS area.

Here’s my honest overall review on the restaurant!

💫 FOOD - 3/5

We ordered beef tartare and soup of the day as starters, roasted thyme white cod and spaghetti alla chitarra as mains and dark chocolate fondant as dessert. I also ordered the chamomile and lavender mocktail for drinks.

Simply put, the food tasted mediocre for the price you are paying for and you are essentially paying for the view.

💫 SERVICE - 4.5/5

I read reviews about poor service and long waiting times on Google but my experience with the service there was the exact opposite. Food came out very quickly. The waiters were amiable and the dishes were well-explained by them. Overall, we were pretty well looked after during our visit.

💫 AMBIENCE/VIEW - 3.5/5

We arrived at 6pm and finished eating at 730pm. We were able to enjoy both the day and night view of the MBS area. I personally prefer the vibes of the place at night purely because there is a portion of tinted glass which spoils the view slightly in the day. Overall, Monti still provides a breathtaking view of the area.
