๐ Keijometo
finally ticked this cafe off my list and i must say itโs worth the hype!
Salmon Ochazuke (30rm)
Very prettily presented, this dish was full of umami! I absolutely loved the salmon which was soft and flaky, perfectly cooked and not dry at all. The matcha-based broth did not taste very much like matcha in my opinion but very much savoury and delicious. Combined with the toasted rice and furikake, this dish was so so enjoyable and light! The only gripe would be that itโs a tad small in portion.

Mentai Tamago Sando (20rm)
This essentially tastes like what you expect - soft white bread, mentaiko mayo, and deep fried tamagoyaki. I enjoyed the vast contrast in textures but found the flavours to be a tad too salty due to the mentaiko.

Watermelon Matcha (14rm)
YALL the matcha drinks are where it is at. They use Niko Neko matcha powder so you can be assured itโs worth the money. I did not expect this to be good but it was SO interesting! The watermelon (combined with milk, i assume) first hits you before the earthiness of the matcha. Definitely worth the 14rm - please get this when you visit!

Yuri Matcha (14rm)
Essentially a good matcha latte thatโs slightly sweetened, but you can taste the quality of the matcha powder of course.

Overall i would say Keijometo is worth a 20min queue at max. I would come down for the drinks but not so much for the mains. I defo donโt regret visiting !
