a tranquil trek to escape the city life ✨

we visited paddy fields in jogja and it was stunning 🥺 i was in love with all the places i shared thus far so be sure to check them out!!

✨ why we love it

- our driver brought us on the route that the locals take so we were even closer to the fields

- met so many friendly locals and they even let us try out some tasks

- the trek was really manageable, mostly flat ground, taking about 2 hours roundtrip

- ok best of all, we were literally the only tourists in the whole area

- the ultimate tranquil trek😮‍💨

there’s a hindu temple right at the peak (candi means temple). personally, i would not head up. i definitely preferred the paddy fields view 🫣
