how can a #HotLemon8Summer not include a jb trip 😂

been to jb many times but many places were a first for me! my friend introduced us to hidden gems that were authentic and affordable. here’s how our day went~

🍲 kedai bak kut teh hin hock

- rare places that open before 9am

- supposedly known for their bkt but we enjoyed the steamed fish more

🛍️ mid valley southkey

- super clean mall with lots of food and shopping

- i bought eureka popcorn here!!

- the croissant shop featured in my post is pretty good, but queue’s always long

🍲 pekin sutera

- we only ordered 3 dishes but all 3 were 😮‍💨

- nyonya veg, pekin duck, stir fried mianxian

- the place is huge with live seafood! felt like we were attending a wedding 🤣

- this is a horror version of escape room! well, we’re all pretty timid but thankfully there’s no actors 🥲

- i guess this is the highlight of our day!! do remember to reserve your slot online in advance

🍲 shu da xia hotpot

💰 RM 415

- if you love mala, i’m sure you’ll love this hotpot place

- i find it a little spicy. i sneezed > 20 times but the food was good 😂

- do reserve online as well

i’m surprised we managed to squeeze in so many food options in a day. definitely the unconventional jb trip with many hidden gems. save this for your next trip!
