What to do: 2D1N in Langkawi 🏝️✨

Went to Langkawi with my friends recently and thought of sharing some things we did while we were there!

Food🍗🍜🥞🦐🍲

📍Arts Cafe (3/5)

The cafe gives off a very retro vibe with its dim lights and unique art pieces hanging on the walls so that was cool~ However, I thought the food was quite mid despite pretty good google reviews. Nothing special but nothing was horrible either. If I had to pick, I’d say the carbonara and the banana pancakes were the best!

📍Hidden Langkawi (4.5/5)

So good! The seafood platter and the fish and chips were AMAZING! The pesto pasta was not too bad but the portion was HUGE I believe it’s for 2 pax?? The drinks can get pretty sweet but other than that they’re also really good, especially the houjicha latte and the matcha latte (they offer soy and oat milk options too!) This is a must try!

📍Restaurant Kabuki (4/5)

Honestly wanted to try Wonderland Food Store which was right beside but it was closed when we reached and we were famished so we just hopped to the nearest restaurant. The fish was fresh and well cooked! The kangkong is pretty spicy so if you love spice this would be perfect! The lala was a bit tasteless for me so I didn’t really like it. Overall, this just tasted like a normal tzechar with some hit and miss

We also grabfood in to our Airbnb such as pizza, prata etc which was also pretty convenient if you want to sleep in and start your day late!

✨Sunset Cruise

Found a 4h cruise package on klook for around $60/pax which we thought was worth it with many things included. There were jacuzzi, paddle boarding and kayaking which I didn’t play because I didn’t bring an extra set of clothes but my friends had so much fun jumping into the water! There were free flow drinks - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic - and a buffet dinner was provided. The views were so pretty and the whole crew was very friendly and helped to take so many photos of us LOL. The yacht wasn’t crowded as well so I loved it - actually felt like every group that shared the same yacht as us had our own fair share of personal space. There were also other yachts around us and at one point we all came together to just dance and vibe together! Overall really fun, and I would go again!

✨ Go-Kart

Went go-karting @ Morac Adventure Park that costs around $25/pax for 10 minutes! Typical go-karting so no special mentions. Just remember to wear socks and covered shoes when you’re going there! Otherwise, you’d have to pay an additional RM 5 for the socks and their shoes.

✨Water activities at the beach

Chanced upon a banner by CBW watersport after our brunch at Hidden Langkawi! Spontaneously agreed to their 3-in-1 package which included jetski, parasailing and UFO boat for just RM200 per pax! They’re very flexible so you can swap any of these 3 out with any other activities that they have like banana boat etc. SUPER FUN and there’s nothing about it I’d change!!! Just note that if you have a bad back or spine, you might want to sit out of the UFO boat because it’s very bumpy! See slide 9 for their contact and the other tour packages they have!

✨One love bar

Decided to end our trip by going to a bar! The songs were actually lit but they do not accept song requests though. The drinks were pretty decent - their one love cocktail is very refreshing! Each drink was about RM 21 which is actually pretty worth it

✨Massage

Didn’t take any photos because the one I went wasn’t the cleanest and while the massage was good, I couldn’t sleep and was just really uncomfortable… Some of my friends went to another one called Alun-Alun Spa which was much better and definitely cleaner! I’d say just read google reviews before going because we didn’t for the first one and… yep.

All in all, it was a really fun trip and the company definitely made it better! 100% recommend if you’re looking for a short getaway to chill over the weekends!
