Weird Family Traditions

Every year on Easter Sunday, my family has a tradition where we go visit my great grandfathers grave. Some years when the weather is nice, we have over 30 family members just hanging out in the graveyard to spend time with my grandfather and feel like those in the family who have passed on are still able to celebrate with us.

We talk, laugh, take pictures with my great grandfathers grave, and look at the other tombstones at the cemetery. We make sure to be respectful to everyone around us, including our surroundings. One of the more famous graves is pictured here, famous poet, Walt Whitman!
