As a fitness girly who takes nutrition very seriously people always ask well do you track on vacation?
This time, no. But I have before and it depends on whats happening...but here's what I do -
Since I've tracked food for years I am very good at knowing what my body needs & wants. I know the amount of protein I should be eating and my hunger cues really tell me the rest. Of course I enjoyed my time but fueled with foods I know would make me feel good inside and out. I always stick to whole foods for the most part and stir clear of any fried foods (I don't typically eat fried food and it doesn't sit well with my digestion, plus its pretty heavy kind of food). I also picked foods that I normally eat day to day - like my breakfasts were pretty similar to what I would have at home.
Having a healthy relationship with food is key, and understanding how to fuel your own body is important!
