Let’s talk about weight gain

Ok here we go. While being stage lean is cool - it’s not sustainable and I don’t look like that now nor should I. I want to represent myself as true as possible online because I know it can be mentally draining as a person who is viewing content, to see competitors only posting their stage shots or content from their most lean points. But I’m here to tell you it’s not right. Weight gain post show is inevitable, and I’ve had to do a lot of mental work to be ok with that.

My stage look is like an outfit - I put it on one day and take it off the next. I don’t expect myself to look like that 24/7 and it’s not healthy to think you should look like it 24/7. I’m here to show you a real body outside of competition season because I celebrate this body as much as I celebrate my stage body.

A lot of people think this part of bodybuilding is unhealthy, but if you’re grounded and secure in yourself then who gives a f*ck. I love the sport and I still enjoy my life.
