If you focus too much on being perfect, you will most likely fail and not keep going after being discouraged. Rather set goals that lean towards consistency rather than perfection. Be consistent and your goals will follow.

2. nutrition is just as important as the training.

-what you are putting into your body has a huge impact on the speed and results of your goals. Be sure to eat plenty of protein no matter if your goal is weight loss, muscle gain, or leaning out. There's a lot more than that goes into nutrition like calorie deficit for weight loss or calorie surplus for weight gain. But as expected you cannot think putting garbage into your body is going to yield a great result outside.
