SAVE THIS: found the actual Bukchon Hanok Village🌳

This is my second time visiting Anguk and the first time I went, I could not locate the actual tourist spot of bukchon hanok village. This time, I managed to locate the village and I must say that it is a must go place if you’re visiting Korea.☁️

Address: Naver Map Link (I pinned New Balance that is located in bukchon hanok village so that you can follow the direction to be in the actual area that I went to!)

The nearest metro station is Anguk Station and Bukchon itself is a large area to cover so you’ll probably need half a day to discover this place.

Here are some things you can expect to find in Bukchon Hanok Village:

• New Balance (Grey House) — they merged the history as part of their theme and sells their classic series in this grey house.

• Beauty of Joseon (They are having discounts now for their sunscreen series. Usually it is hard to find this brand having discounts) — I got my serum sunscreen and stick sunscreen for 33,000won

• Cafes — they have more cafes at the top of the village but it was uphill, so we got too tired to explore that segment. But the bottom part of the village, there are many other coffee cafes too that are instagram-worthy!

• e-marts — it gets really hot in summer, so e-marts was our go to to grab a quick bottle of drink or snacks

• Photo Spots — If you’re expecting a long alley of the traditional houses, no but I couldn’t find it 🥺.

I only managed to find parts of the traditional alley which was shorter than I imagined. But the photos turn out better than expected. In the Bukchon Hanok Village, the streets have many photo spots (like against the streets, outside the cafe buildings and many more too!) so prepare your camera 🤪

Although I didn’t fully explore the whole village but the whole experience was really fascinating and eye-opening. I would definitely go back to explore more again! ☁️ Let me know if you have more reccomendations.
