Lovet Annelise dress / Petite

I’ve been wanting to get a dress with a longer upper torso cut (not sure what the style is called) but because I’m on the shorter side they just make me look shorter 🥲

This is a nice alternative if you’re petite! I think it’s quite a classic piece that you can wear for a long time.

I always like scoop necklines and padded tops. However my number one gripe with local brand clothings is.. the unnecessary lining. For example this dress, under the light flowy black skirt is a thicker blanket of polyester lining. The dress looks light and airy but doesn’t feel quite the same when you wear it. (Wouldn’t it also be less cost not to add a lining?) I’ve actually cut away the lining for some clothes before and it’s so much better without it.

I’m most probably gonna cut away the lining for this dress too..

But if you’re considering to cut any lining, please of course make sure it’s not a sheer fabric or affects the way it drapes on you after before you do so 😂
