My visit to JB have always ended up in cafes, and I thought I’d break my routine and try something different one morning when I was lucky enough to be there before lunchtime.

Pin Ming Xuan Cantonese Dim Sum is conveniently located opposite KSL Mall, and is no stranger to many Singaporeans (DUUUUH). We were there about 10am and there was already a queue forming… on a weekday.

We secured a table in under 10 minutes and placed our order beforehand - the menu was simple and straightforward. From classic staples like har gow and siew mai, to signature dishes like their special sauce fried radish cake, as well as heartier options such as wanton mee and porridge, their menu boasts a wide variety of options.

Our bill came up to RM60 despite over-ordering 😳Some dishes that stood out to us was:

1. Xiao Long Bao - I think the added in a splash of Chinese wine in there which was a nice touch!

2. Siew Mai - The shrimps were SO plump and juicy, definitely not skimping on ingredients here 👀

3. Chee Cheong Fan - Again, the shrimps were so fresh and the sauce packed a punch. I LOVE IT.

The rest of the dishes were done well too! Do note that they also take card payment, so it is easier for you guys!
