🌸 Helloo! Another cool notion tip to make your workspace more aesthetic and customised. Here’s how to create color blocks to create nice sections on your notion page/color code sub-pages in gallery view!! This is one step towards being a pro notion user in some simple steps ✨

⋆˚✿˖° Color blocks & how to use them

If you want to create thick, visible divider on your notion pages in any color you want, this is for you!! You can simply write the formula \color {hex code}\ rule {length px} {width px} as in 4th slide anywhere on your workspace. Input the length and width for the line, select the formula and click “create equation” symbol and you should see it! If you want to edit any property, just click the line once.

⋆˚✿˖° Advanced: Color-coding gallery view databases

If you’re already quite familiar with notion and know how to use databases (will make a tutorial on this soon!) you can add this color block as another text property that is visible in the database. Just create a new text property, rename it to “color” and paste the same formula.
