β§Β°πͺβ‘πΒ°β§β βοΈ 3 simple ways to customise your notion dashboard and make it more aesthetic! These tips are super simple but can go a long way from the simple white + black default layout to something youβd actually enjoy & be motivated to use!
βΛβΏΛΒ° 1. Add color
You can add color on notion to basically anything - text blocks, to-do lists, quotes, call-outs, etc. Simply highlight/select the block, select the 6 dots > select βcolorβ > choose either a text colour or a background color (I like to combine the two, i.e. dark pink text with a pastel pink background).
βΛβΏΛΒ° 2. Add cute symbols As well as simple text and emojis, elevate your notion titles and subheadings with cute kaomojis/symbols like this: β§βΛποΈβ© βΛπ§βΉβ‘ β> simply copy + paste a few from any of the websites listed in the post!
βΛβΏΛΒ° 3. Add gifs & images I love exploring and saving cute gifs from different sources (especially Pinterest), dragging and dropping them into my workspace! When saving gifs especially, make sure it is saved with β.gifβ instead of β.jpgβ or else you wonβt see any movement! As notion has a limit of 5MB per media file, you can use free gif compressors online if the gifs youβve chosen are larger than this.
More beginner-friendly notion tips to come! I hope this was useful β‘βΈ(Λ α΅ Λ )βΈ
