High Rock Cafe Dining Review

Do you ever start a meal with Dessert? If you don’t, you need to at High Rock Café because the High Rock Kit Kat is the best dessert I have ever had. But apart from that, the food here was very good and we ate a lot of it!

Soup: the soup of the day was a Tomato Garbanzo Bisque, and it was delicious! I love soup, but eating it on hot days can be hard. However, eating it at High Rock café even when it was 85 degrees outside was a breeze because it was so boldly flavored that it went down easy.

Salad: the wedge salad was awesome. I get wedge salads a lot and this one was a solid pick. The balsamic reduction was the best part, but the bleu cheese was also tangy and a great addition. I should have added some protein to this because I was expecting a lot more bacon.

Entrée: the prime rib was actually my boyfriends order, but it was so good I ended up eating quite a bit of it. We got it cooked medium rare and that was perfect because it just melted in your mouth. It was served with a side of au jus and horseradish which was an awesome complement. The mashed potatoes and veggies were also very flavorful, but there was certainly too much food.

Dessert: like I said earlier, order the High Rock Kit Kat first, you won’t regret it. This was undoubtedly one of the best desserts I have ever had in my life. I will be searching the internet for this recipe so I can blow people away with the recipe. Get this before you fill up on other food because it’s the best thing on the menu.

Overall this is a hidden gem in the Dells and I highly recommend checking it out.
