Hi, there! 🥺💗💗 Everyone enjoys a new beginning, right? 💗 If you want to wake up with clean, glowing skin, you must remove all of your makeup. By removing your makeup at night, you're doing your skin a huge favor. Sleeping with face makeup on can cause dry skin, acne, and even wrinkles due to collagen breakdown — and that's just for face makeup. Leaving eye makeup on creates its own set of issues, such as eye infections, irritation, styes, and broken eyelashes. Taking off your makeup every night is essential for good skin care. ✅💯💯

So today I will do the double cleansing technique! 💗💯

The first step in a double cleanse is to remove your makeup. A cleansing balm is my personal favorite because it removes makeup without clogging pores, and rubbing the creamy concoction on your face feels almost therapeutic. 💗💗💗 All you have to do is scoop an ample amount of product and rub it on your hands then apply it on your face in a circular motion. After it melts all the makeup splash a little amount of water on your face. 💯 rinse afterward!

However, don't stop there! Even if you have just removed your makeup, your skin is not clean. I still used an eye makeup remover to fully remove my mascara. After you've rinsed everything off, come in for a second cleanse with your favorite cleanser. This step removes any remaining makeup while also cleansing the skin of dirt, oil, and other impurities that can clog pores. ✨🥰

After that, pat dry your face with a washcloth or tissue before continuing with your post-cleansing skincare routine. Remember to replace your face towel every two to three days, as impurities and bacteria can quickly accumulate. ✨📝📝
