Did you know you could eat the sunflower head?

I have went from no green thumb 👍 ever to loving the art of gardening. Now each year I plant these huge sun flowers. I never knew you could eat the head of it. Yeah I know sunflower seeds but I’m saying actually eating the head before you can harvest seeds.

Plant your seeds love 💗 then you’ll have to pick it at a good time before the seeds get hard.

I dust off the yellow flower 🌻 and pull the leaves on the sides. Clean well!

Pat dry, add oil (of your choice) season well. Place head down on grill or wrap in foil and roast in oven.

I’m telling you this taste sooo good. Seriously like street corn 🌽 go a step further and make a cream sauce for it.
