Visiting Asylum Coffeehouse in Jalan Besar ☕︎︎

Asylum coffeehouse, a cafe for those that are obsessed with coffee ☕️

Jalan Besar has been known for many famous restaurants. And many interesting cafes are also spring up in this area. Asylum coffeehouse is one of those.

It is a house of specialty coffee. This place is perfect for everyone that want to stop by for just a cup of drink. They have a options for pastries and pies. So this may not a place for you if you want to order some food, but definitely a place for you if you would like to have a good quality coffee.

Please note that the tables here aren’t suitable to stay for long because they are just a small dining table fit comfortably 2 persons. We ordered ice latte and ice mocha together with chicken pie and croissant 🥐

Drinks are nice. Mocha is on the strong taste of coffee compare to other cafe. Croissant is surprisingly nice too. It’s crispy and flaky from outside and soft from inside. Chicken pie is ok but you can skip if you have other choices that up to your liking. I enjoyed my time there and will go back again for that nice coffee.
