WHY I STILL LOVE FILM

Remember when film was all the rage? It had its moment, then took a backseat with the rise of filter apps and digital cameras boasting film simulation modes. But after giving them a shot, I feel they still can't hold a candle to what a good film camera can do. There's just something about vibe of authentic film images that can't be replicated by filters.

Although the price skyrocketed after Kendall Jenner was spotted shooting with it, I still think it’s worth investing in. This little powerhouse has it all. It's automatic, yet comes with functional manual controls, giving you the best of both worlds. And despite its small size, it's a high-quality, well-built titanium machine that's built to last. It's a true pocket-sized wonder, but don't let its size fool you. The Carl Zeiss lens it boasts packs a huge punch in terms of clarity and color.

The Contax T2 truly has a lot going for it. It's the perfect companion for capturing those special moments. As much as I appreciate the FUJI x100v and Ricoh GR3 (still my go-to digital cameras whenever I travel), their film simulations still can't quite match the magic of shooting with real film!

Sure, it may be more of a hassle, but there's something truly special about the process, when every shot was carefully composed and eagerly awaited. ✨
